History museum Bad Sobernheim
The history museum of Bad Sobernheim is located at the "Priorhof". The "Priorhof" is one of the most important and most beautiful aristocracy courts of the 16th century. It has been built in 1572/73 and was part of the convent "Marienpforte".

The barn next door has been rebuilt as a modern place of exhibition. The life and work of Katharina Schroth are presented. Numerous pictures and documents present her revolutionary work and per spectacular healing methods.
Pictures, sculptures and musical notations of well-known artists, such as Johann von der Eltz, Jakob Melcher and Rudolf Desch are presented in the Priorhof.
