Barefoot-path Bad Sobernheim
The first and unique barefoot-path with a total length of 3,5 km in Germany
The question whether the barefoot-path in Bad Sobernheim is the reason for the growing trend of barefoot walking or not, cannot be clearly answered. In fact, the visitors of the barefoot-path are totally enthusiastic about walking barefoot - consequently this increases the popularity of walking barefoot. It is a real interesting and exciting experience to put-off your shoes and your socks and feel the natural material of the ground.
Walking through the cool clay of the clay-stamp-basin is very good in case of "hot" feet. Walking on different ground material such as pieces of bark, wood, stones and sand stimulate the whole organism like a massage of the foot reflex-zones. One of the ultimate highlights of the barefoot-path is the crossing of the river Nahe at a special ford.
Nobody of our guests won't miss the 40 metres long suspension bridge, where you can move hand over hand along a rope over the Nahe river. Of course you can simply cross the river by a special boat, called "barque".
